چکیده
This study investigated the utility of Sentinel-2 spectral data for estimating leaf area index (LAI), and canopy chlorophyll content maize at different growth stages. Vegetation indices based on visible-near infrared red-edge regions spectrum were computed from imagery acquired within one or two days field collection. Results showed that green (CIgreen) (CIred-edge), using variant centred 705 nm, consistently higher relationship to LAI with r2 0.65 0.63 during early stages growth, respectively, an 0.79 0.81 tassel stage, respectively. Regarding results indicated advantage sensor presence bands continuous monitoring content. Overall, biophysical variables can be monitored satellite level data.

Grassland habitat covers about one-quarter of the Earth’s land surface, providing significant contribution to the world’s total agricultural production, plant biodiversity, and carbon sequestration. The advent of hyperspectral remote sensing and the future launch of planned spaceborne hyperspectral missions will open up new possibilities over conventional multispectral RS to better quantify gra...

Non-destructive, accurate, user-friendly and low-cost approaches to determining crop leaf area (LA) are a key tool in many agronomic and physiological studies, as well as in current agricultural management. Although there are models that estimate cut rose LA in the literature, they are generally designed for a specific stage of the crop cycle, usually harvest. This study aimed to estimate the L...
متن کاملTemporal disparity in leaf chlorophyll content and leaf area index across a growing season in a temperate deciduous forest
Spatial and temporal variations in canopy structure and leaf biochemistry have considerable influence on fluxes of CO2, water and energy and nutrient cycling in vegetation. Two vegetation indices (VI), NDVI and Macc01, were used to model the spatio-temporal variability of broadleaf chlorophyll content and leaf area index (LAI) across a growing season. Ground data including LAI, hyperspectral le...

The objective of this study was to develop a rapid non-destructive technique to estimate total chlorophyll (Chl) content in a maize canopy using Chl content in a single leaf. The approach was (1) to calibrate and validate a reflectance-based non-destructive technique to estimate leaf Chl in maize; (2) to quantify the relative contribution of each leaf Chl to the total Chl in the canopy; and (3)...
